Abstract:
Some illuminated operation buttons used in control panels at elevator landings or in cars have characters that are illegible. In order to make characters legible, this operation button 1 comprises, in a button cap 3, a base 7 that is obtained by injection molding a colored resin material provided with a through hole 7a for light from a light source to pass through, and a button 6 that is obtained by integrally molding a transparent resin material on the top face of the base 7. A recess 6a on which characters or numbers are marked is formed on the button 6 in a portion facing the through hole 7a on the base 7 side.
