Abstract:
An elevator operation system using a camera according to the present invention includes: a first elevator; a camera for photographing a preset region of a platform to generate a first image if there is a first call signal for the first elevator inputted by a call button in the platform; a detection part for generating a nonstop signal if not detecting a person's form from the first image; a decision part for transmitting a nonstop signal to a drive part if receiving the nonstop signal from the detection part; and the drive part for moving the first elevator to the floor corresponding to the call button having generated a first call signal, or not stopping the first elevator at the floor corresponding to the call button if receiving the nonstop signal from the decision part.
