Abstract:
Provided is an elevator rope in which twisting identification marks are formed on the outer layer surface of the rope body in order to identify when the rope is twisted in the length direction. The twisting identification marks are formed in the circumferential direction of the rope as marks having differing levels of visibility allowing for the identification of positions in the circumferential direction, and are formed in the same pattern in the length direction of the rope at a plurality of positions at predetermined intervals.
