Abstract:
An elevator safety detection device and a detection method. The elevator safety detection device comprises a first elevator car top measurement mechanism (3), a second elevator car top measurement mechanism, a counterweight measurement mechanism (4) and a handheld control display mechanism (5); each of the first elevator car top measurement mechanism (3) and the second elevator car top measurement mechanism comprises a laser detector (3-3) and a slide platform measuring ruler; the slide platform measuring ruler comprises an encoder (3-1-2), a first laser distance measuring sensor (3-1-1), a telescopic rod, a motor (3-1-3) and a fixed base (3-1-4); and the telescopic rod comprises a fixed part (3-1-5) and a telescopic part (3-1-6). The elevator safety detection device has a compact structure, is easy to install and maintain, can automatically measure relevant data in a lift well, and therefore working personnel can avoid danger as there is no need for them to enter a lift well to be measured to carry out data measurement.
