Abstract:
Provided are an elevator system and a remote monitoring system such that the amount of communication traffic on a wide area communication channel can be suppressed during remote monitoring. The remote monitoring system (1) includes a plurality of elevator systems (2). An elevator system (2) comprises an elevator control unit and an edge server (4). The elevator control unit controls operation of an elevator (3). The edge server (4) is connected to the elevator control unit via a local first communication channel (11). The edge server (4) is connected to a monitoring terminal (12) via a wide area second communication channel (13). The edge server (4) comprises a buffer (15) and an analyzer (16). The buffer (15) temporarily stores a plurality of pieces of elevator state data that the elevator control unit acquires successively. The analyzer (16) outputs the analysis results based on the plurality of pieces of elevator state data stored in the buffer (15) to the monitoring terminal (12).
