This elevator system comprises a call registration device, a group management device, and an allocated cage notification device. The group management device determines an allocated cage to respond to a loading zone destination call, when a loading zone destination call has been registered from the call registration device. The allocated cage notification device associates information about the allocated cage determined by the group management device to the destination floor for the allocated cage, and displays the information in a display unit. In addition, the group management device determines whether or not the loading zone destination call registered from the call registration device fulfills prescribed review conditions. The group management device does not make a final determination about the allocated cage immediately after registration, for loading zone destination calls that fulfill the review conditions. Furthermore, when the group management device makes a final determination about the allocated cage for a loading zone destination call fulfilling the review conditions, the allocated cage notification device displays, in the display unit and for a prescribed time, only information relating to the allocated cage and the destination floor corresponding to the loading zone destination call.
