Abstract:
This elevator system comprises a motor that is a drive source for a mechanism to raise and lower an elevator car, a power storage device that stores electrical power supplied to the motor, and a charger that charges the power storage device by means of power supplied from an electrical grid. The motor, the power storage device, and the charger are respectively a traveling motor, a vehicle mounted power storage device, and a vehicle mounted charger repurposed from a used vehicle.
