In an email inspection device (10), a learning unit (20) learns the relationship between characteristics of each email included in a plurality of emails and characteristics of resources accompanying the respective emails. The resources accompanying the respective emails include files added to the respective emails and/or resources specified by URLs in the text of the respective emails. A determination unit (30) extracts characteristics of an email to be inspected and characteristics of resources accompanying the email to be inspected, and determines whether the email being inspected is a suspicious email on the basis of whether a relationship learned by the learning unit (20) exists between the extracted characteristics.
