Abstract:
An embedded die casting process for an extruded heat sink, relating to the technical field of die casting, comprising the following steps: (1) obtaining blade aluminum extrusions (1) by means of a dedicated mold and a forming process; (2) shaping the blade aluminum extrusions (1) to ensure that the flatness is controlled below 0.8; (3) performing CNC machining after the shaping to meet required product requirements, thereby obtaining finished aluminum extrusions; (4) opening a mold, embedding the finished aluminum extrusions obtained in the above step in a fixed mold cavity, and pre-positioning said extrusions according to cooling ribs; (5) closing the mold, and pressing the aluminum extrusions into the fixed mold cavity according to six small circular protrusions on the movable mold side; (6) die-casting molding, and filling and solidifying; (7) opening the mold, and synchronously ejecting the aluminum extrusions and a body (2) by means of an ejection mechanism on the fixed mold side to be left on one side of the movable mold, wherein the blades and the body (2) have been solidified and combined into an integral whole; and (8) ejecting the final product by means of the ejection mechanism in the movable mold. The method improves the yield, reduces costs, and decreases the mold difficulty.
