Abstract:
An embedded-type anchor device for tensile testing of rock, and a testing method. The device comprises a test-piece anchor component and grip-type fastener components. The test-piece anchor component comprises an upper anchor assembly (1) and a lower anchor assembly (2), said assemblies being symmetrically configured. The upper and lower anchor assemblies (1, 2) are respectively embedded in the upper and lower end portions of a test piece (9) so as to anchor said test piece (9). There are two grip-type fastener components, one being provided around the upper anchor assembly (1) and the other being provided around the lower anchor assembly (2). Reinforcement of the anchor assemblies (1, 2) allows the test piece (9) to be held in place from the outside. In the testing method, an embedding method is used to anchor the test piece (9), such that the direction of pull on the test piece (9) is consistent with the lengthwise direction of the test piece (9), and is thereby closer to the theoretical stress direction of the test piece (9). During stretching, the pulling force generated by the testing machine is transmitted through a rod-shaped body to the test piece (9), which is in contact with an anchored section (12) of the rod-shaped body, thus pulling on the test piece (9) such that the stress on the test piece (9) is more uniform. This produces more accurate results.
