Abstract:
The present invention provides an embolus and a preparation method therefor, the embolus comprising a tubular helical component having an inner cavity and a shaping component arranged inside the inner cavity, wherein the shaping component extends in an axial direction of the helical component, is connected to the helical component, and has a linear primary shape and a three-dimensional secondary shape; and a distal end of the shaping component is less soft than a proximal end of the shaping component, such that a distal end of the embolus is less soft than a proximal end of the embolus. The overall shape of the embolus matches the shape of the shaping component, and the embolus is in the primary shape during the process of being delivered into a hemangioma or a malformed blood vessel through a micro catheter, such that the pushing resistance for the embolus is effectively reduced; and the embolus can conform to a tumor wall, and the filling density thereof is improved.
