Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an embossed thermoplastic resin sheet which, when being used as a laminated glass interlayer, is able to improve a deaeration property when laminated glass is manufactured, suppress optical distortion of the obtained laminated glass, and improve visibility, an engraved roll used for manufacturing the embossed thermoplastic resin sheet, an engraved roll manufacturing method, a laminated glass interlayer that uses the embossed thermoplastic resin sheet, and laminated glass.
The present invention is an embossed thermoplastic resin sheet which has numerous recessed portions and numerous protruding portions on at least one surface, the recessed portion having a groove shape with a continuous bottom, and the recessed portions adjacent to each other being regularly arranged parallel to each other, wherein the number of the defective protruding portions present on the surface of the thermoplastic resin sheet is three per square millimeter or less.
