Abstract:
This encoded data generation method for generating encoded data of a plurality of bit rates, obtained by encoding an image, comprises: an evaluation value acquisition step for acquiring an evaluation value, when the generated encoded data are reproduced, at a distribution destination of the encoded data; and a bit rate changing step for changing the bit rate of the encoded data to be generated on the basis of distribution of the acquired evaluation values in all channels.
