Abstract:
An encoding circuit 100 converts 9-bit input data S1 into a 10-bit symbol S2. A conversion circuit 110 converts the 9-bit input data S1 into a 10-bit symbol S2 having a disparity of 0, ±2, or ±4. A disparity controller 120, on the basis of the history of a plurality of past disparities, selects the polarity of disparity of the current symbol.
