Abstract:
Provided in the embodiments of the present application are an encoding method and a decoding method. The encoding method comprises: inputting geometric information of a node of an ith layer into a first embedded network, so as to determine an embedding feature of the node of the ith layer; inputting the embedding feature of the node of the ith layer into an encoding network, so as to determine a latent variable of the node of the ith layer; according to the latent variable of the node of the ith layer, determining a reconstruction value of the residual of the node of the ith layer, and according to the reconstruction value of the residual of the node of the ith layer, determining a reconstruction value of the latent variable of the node of the ith layer; and inputting the reconstruction value of the latent variable of the node of the ith layer into a first decoding network, so as to generate a code stream of the geometric information of the node of the ith layer. The decoding method comprises: decoding a code stream, so as to determine a reconstruction value of the residual of a node of an ith layer; according to the reconstruction value of the residual of the node of the ith layer, determining a reconstruction value of a latent variable of the node of the ith layer; and inputting the reconstruction value of the latent variable of the node of the ith layer into a second decoding network, so as to determine geometric information of the node of the ith layer.
