Abstract:
An endoscope auxiliary tool 100, which is removably attached to a treatment tool insertion channel 23 of an endoscope 2 to which a suction tube 26 joins, includes a flexible tubular member 101 which has a length that is longer than or equal to the length of the treatment tool insertion channel 23, which maintains a straight pipe shape regardless of the bend of a bendable portion 15 of the endoscope 2, from at least an inlet side edge 25A of an outlet portion 25 of the treatment tool insertion channel 23 to an inlet thereof. The flexible tubular member 101 includes: a distal end portion 103 which has a circumference that slidably contacts an inner circumferential surface of the outlet portion 25 of the treatment tool insertion channel 23 and is disposed at the outlet portion 25; and a communication portion 104 that allows the outlet of the treatment tool insertion channel 23 to communicate with the suction tube 26.
