Abstract:
The present invention has: an image acquisition unit for acquiring an endoscope image obtained by capturing an image of the inside of a subject into which an endoscope insertion part is inserted; an operation content determination unit for determining, on the basis of the endoscope image acquired in the image acquisition unit, one or more operation contents selected from among a prescribed plurality of operation contents pertaining to an insertion operation of the endoscope insertion part; and a control unit for performing a control that pertains to the insertion operation of the endoscope insertion part on the basis of the operation content determined in the operation content determination unit. The operation content determination unit has one or a plurality of selectors created by machine learning of a learning image comprising an endoscope image that has been prepared for learning and operation content that is appropriate for a condition indicated by the learning image. The endoscope image acquired in the image acquisition unit is inputted as input data to the selector, and the selector determines the one or more operation contents.
