Abstract:
An endoscope device includes an endoscope and a device body. The endoscope includes an elongated and flexible insertion section at the end having an observation window constituting an observation optical system and an illumination window constituting an illumination optical system, and an imaging element having an imaging surface on which an optical image passing through the observation window is focused. The device body includes a display section for displaying an image captured by the imaging element. The device body has a shape of a flat rectangular parallelepiped. The device body has the display section on the largest surface thereof and a holding member for holding the insertion section in a wound state on the back surface of the largest surface.
