Abstract:
This endoscope comprises: an imaging unit that is assembled in the tip of an insertion tube and images a site to be observed through an observation window; a plurality of first LEDS provided side by side on the outside of the imaging unit; and a plurality of second LEDs provided side by side on the outside of the provision region of the first LEDs. The combined provision regions of the first LEDs and the second LEDs are covered by a light distribution lens, light emission from the first LEDs is output via the light distribution lens in a smaller angular range than the viewing angle of the imaging unit, and light emission from the second LEDs is output through the light distribution lens in a smaller range than the viewing angle of the imaging unit.
