Abstract:
An endoscope external mechanism 10 is provided with a contacting surface 14 as a first surface for covering a knob arrangement surface 3r on which a second bending operation knob 3g in an operating part 3 of an endoscope 1 is disposed, a wheel 41 for engaging with a second bending operation knob 3c disposed on the knob arrangement surface 3r, a motor 32 for generating a drive force for rotating the wheel 41, an accommodating case 11 for accommodating the wheel 41 and the motor 32, a case attachment/detachment fixing part 12 for detachably attaching the accommodating case 11 to the operating part 3 of the endoscope 1, and a locking member 13 provided to the accommodating case 11 and locked by the knob arrangement surface 3r of the endoscope 1 and a large-diameter-part end surface 3t provided adjacent to the knob arrangement surface 3r in the operating part 3 of the endoscope 1.
