A stereoscopic endoscope image pickup device 9 is provided with: a first objective lens frame 1 having a through-hole 5 that includes a first mounting hole 5a in which a first objective optical system 10 is mounted and a second mounting hole 5b in which a second objective optical system 20 disposed parallel to the first objective optical system 10 is mounted; a second objective lens frame 2 which is disposed so as to be slidable on the first objective lens frame 1 and in which a part of the second objective optical system 20 is mounted; an imaging frame 3 which is disposed so as to be slidable on the second objective lens frame 2 and in which an imaging element 31 is disposed; and a spacer 6 which is mounted inside the through-hole 5 of the first objective lens frame 1 and which allows an optical member of the first objective optical system 10 and an optical member of the second objective optical system 20 to be disposed at predetermined positions.
