Abstract:
This endoscope optical module 1 comprises: an optical fiber 10; a light-emitting element 20; a ferrule 30 that has a front surface 30SA and a rear surface 30SB, the optical fiber 10 being inserted in a first through hole H30; a glass substrate 40 that has a first main surface 40SA and a second main surface 40SB, the light-emitting element 20 being mounted on the first main surface 40SA; a sleeve 50 that has a third main surface 50SA and a fourth main surface 50SB, the ferrule 30 being inserted in a second through hole H50, and the third main surface 50SA being joined to the second main surface 40SB of the glass substrate 40; and a pressing part 60 having a contacting surface 60SA in planar contact with the rear surface 30SB of the ferrule 30, said pressing part 60 being fixed to the sleeve 50 using an adhesive. A side surface 50SS of the sleeve 50 and an inside surface 60SS of the pressing part 60 are in contact with each other.
