Abstract:
This endoscope system is provided with: a first light source unit which emits first light; a first light guiding member which guides the first light incident from the first light source unit toward a subject; a second light source unit which emits second light in a different wavelength region from the first light; a second light guiding member which guides the second light incident from the second light source unit toward the subject; and a shielding unit which alternately shields the first light directed from the first light source unit toward the first light guiding member and the second light directed from the second light source unit toward the second light guiding member.
