Abstract:
An endoscope treatment instrument (1) provided with: a cylindrical distal-end member (2) attached to the distal end of an endoscope; a gripping tool (7) for gripping a biotissue, the gripping tool (7) being provided along the longitudinal axis of the endoscope on the outside surface of the endoscope; a wire-shaped connecting member (8) for connecting the distal-end member (2) and the gripping tool (7); an electrode (3) disposed so as to protrude forward from the distal end of the distal-end member (2); and an electrode drive part for moving the electrode (3) to a treatment position of the biotissue in a state in which the biotissue is gripped by the gripping tool (7); the distal-end member (2) being provided with a holding part (30) for fixing an end part of the connecting member (8), the holding part (30) being provided on the outer circumferential surface of the distal-end member across the longitudinal axis, the gripping tool (7) being connected to the connecting member (8) so that the distal end of the gripping tool (7) can rotate about the holding part (30), and the electrode (3) extending in the direction perpendicular to the distal-end direction of the gripping tool (7) and being moved by the electrode drive part in the direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the endoscope in a state in which the distal-end member (2) is attached to the endoscope.
