Abstract:
An endoscope 1 that is for achieving precision bending operations in specific directions at a joystick-type bending lever 45. The endoscope 1 has: a bending operation mechanism 50 that has one bending lever 45 that can tilt in all directions, including a first direction, a second direction, a third direction, and a fourth direction that correspond to the up, down, left, and right bending directions of a bending part 7; and a variable fixing mechanism 60 that is formed between the bending operation mechanism 50 and an operation part body 32 (an operation part 3) and displaceably fixes the bending operation mechanism 50 to the operation part body 32.
