Title:
ENERGY CONVERSION SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/045013
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to improve the shape of AC voltage waveform, in an energy conversion system capable of performing conversion between DC power and AC power, and conversion between AC power and mechanical force. Accordingly, the present invention is provided with: a plurality of DC/AC conversion circuits which have DC voltage applied thereto, which are each formed from a full-bridge circuit provided with four switching elements, and which convert direct current into alternating current; and a rotational electric machine or a linear motor provided with a plurality of AC input/output terminals which are insulated from each other. DC input/output terminals of the plurality of DC/AC conversion circuits are respectively connected in series. AC input/output terminals of the DC/AC conversion circuits are respectively connected, either directly or via transformers, to the plurality of AC input/output terminals of the rotational electric machine or the linear motor, said plurality of AC input/output terminals of the rotational electric machine or the linear motor being insulated from each other. When switching the switching elements in the DC/AC conversion circuits ON and OFF, phases such as that obtained by switching three or more of the four switching elements ON are formed.
