Description:
AN ENERGY CONVERSION SYSTEM

TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to at least one energy conversion system where gas, fuel and air mixture, taken from at least one gas fuel feeding line, is burnt in at least one body and where movement energy can be obtained from the combustion gas which expands in at least one exhaust opening.

PRIOR ART

In the present art, generators provide production of electrical energy in case of mains supply failures or in case there is no electrical energy at a location. Thanks to the generators activated in a short time as the electrical current coming from the power supply is interrupted, electrical energy can be provided to workplaces, houses or whole building.

There is one alternator in each generator. Additionally, there is one motor in the generators. Converted fuels like gasoline - natural gas are positioned at the motor region of generators according to the type thereof. This fuel is firstly converted into heat energy. Afterwards, it is converted into mechanical energy form for providing electrical energy. Finally, the obtained mechanical energy form is sent to the alternator positioned directly to the motor. The alternator part begins to become magnetized by means of conversion of the mechanical effect, and the result is reached, in other words, electrical energy is obtained.

In order to be able to obtain electrical energy, rotational effect must be realized and this must be converted into magnetization energy in the next step. Electrical energy is produced in this manner technically as from electrical plants to vehicles. For instance, the fuels, which exist in vehicles, are firstly sent to the motor and are afterwards sent to the alternator where the motor provides rotation. Afterwards, this occurs as electrical energy.

The application no KR20150052739 known in the literature describes an electrical plant. According to the invention, a power plant which uses a LPG carrier comprises a power generator connected to a main motor assembled beforehand to a used LPG carrier or to a disposed LPG carrier, and an acceleration apparatus connected to the main motor and to the generator for increasing the motor revolution number which is to be transferred to the generator.

The generators which exist in the known art generally operate by means of diesel fuel. Diesel fuels release particles and gases, which are harmful to environment, during combustion. Particularly the usage of these generators in closed areas is therefore substantially difficult. Additionally, in generators which operate by means of natural gas in the art, since the combustion energy of natural gas is low, it cannot operate at the desired efficiency, and high amount of power cannot be sufficient for the systems.

As a result, because of the abovementioned problems, an improvement is required in the related technical field.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In this detailed description, the subject matter is explained with references to examples without forming any restrictive effect only in order to make the subject more understandable.

In Figure 1 , a representative schematic view of the subject matter energy conversion system (1 ) is given. Accordingly, said energy conversion system (1) provides obtaining movement energy and electrical energy by combustion of gas fuel. The gas fuel mentioned in the invention can be LPG, natural gas, CNG, butane, propane and a similar fuel type. In order to be able to realize this, in the energy conversion system (1 ), various components must operate in a synchronized manner. This energy conversion system (1) can be used at places where electrical energy is desired to be used but where there is no mains supply or no renewable energy source (sun, wind, etc.) and where electrical energy and movement energy have to be obtained.

In the subject matter energy conversion system (1), there is at least one body (10). Said body (10) is configured such that there is at least one flow opening (11) therein. In a possible embodiment of the present invention, the body (10) has cylindrical shape. There is said flow opening (11 ) at the center of this cylindrical body (10). In this flow opening (11 ), gas fuel, air and water are mixed at predetermined proportions and are burnt.

There is suction opening (12) at one side of the flow opening (11 ) of the body (10) and there is at least one exhaust opening (13) at the other side. Said suction opening (12) enables carrying of clean air to the flow opening (11). Said exhaust opening (13) enables discharge of the combustion gas which is output as a result of the mixture burnt in the flow opening (11). The combustion gas discharged through the exhaust opening (13) accelerates after expanding due to combustion and flows at a predetermined flow rate. As a result of this flow, movement energy is obtained from the energy conversion system (1 ). This movement energy is obtained as a result of combustion inside the body (10). In a possible embodiment of the present invention, electrical energy can be produced by means of a turbine which can be positioned at the continuation of the exhaust opening (13) with the increasing speed. Additionally, by means of this speed increase without the turbine, the energy produced here can be used as the thrust motor.

The flow opening (11 ) of the body (10) is associated with at least one gas fuel feeding line (20). Said gas fuel feeding line (20) is used in feeding gas fuel to the energy conversion system (1 ). In order to be able to realize this, the gas fuel feeding line (20) comprises at least one fuel supply (21). In a possible embodiment of the present invention, said fuel supply (21) can be a part which has a closed volume and where gas fuel can be accumulated in a compressible manner. Additionally, there can be at least one first dosing unit (22) on the gas fuel feeding line (20). Said first dosing unit (22) adjusts the amount of gas fuel fed from the fuel supply (21) to the energy conversion system (1 ). The gas fuel taken from the first dosing unit (22) is given to the energy conversion system (1) through a fuel opening (23) provided in the vicinity of a suctioning opening (12).

The flow opening (11 ) of the body (10) is associated with at least one liquid feeding line (30). Said liquid feeding line (30) is configured to feed water or water vapor, which is to be used during combustion, to the energy conversion system (1 ). In order to be able to realize this, the liquid feeding line (30) comprises at least one liquid supply (31 ). Additionally, there can be at least one second dosing unit (32) on the liquid feeding line (30). Said second dosing unit (32) adjusts the amount of gas fuel fed from the fuel supply (21 ) to the energy conversion system (1 ). The gas fuel, received from the second dosing unit (32), is given to the energy conversion system (1 ) from a sprayer (33) provided in the vicinity of a suction opening (12). As an item like water or water vapor is given to the system, the temperature of the combustion gas discharged through the exhaust opening (13) can be controlled, and at the same time, electrical energy can be obtained.

The energy conversion system (1 ) is associated with at least one energy unit (40). Said energy unit (40) is used in making usable the electricity obtained from the energy conversion system (1 ). The invention can also be used in accumulating and transferring of the electricity obtained in the energy conversion system (1 ). In order to be able to realize this, the energy unit (40) has at least one high voltage phase connection (41 ) and at least one high voltage neutral connection (42). Said high voltage phase connection (41 ) is configured to give electricity at least partially to the water carried in the energy conversion system (1 ). Said high voltage neutral connection (42) provides completion of electrical current cycle. By means of this, the water carried in the energy conversion system (1 ) is energized. There is at least one generator phase connection (43) and generator neutral connection (44) in the energy conversion system (1 ). Said generator provides obtaining of electrical energy from water actuated by means of generator phase connection (43) and the generator neutral connection (44). Afterwards, the electrical energy made usable in the energy unit (40) has been made usable by means of at least one output connection (45). Essentially in MHD type generator, electricity is obtained in this manner. MHD type generator is a magneto-hydrodynamic converter which converts thermal energy and kinetic energy into electricity. In such a structure, a conductor is passed through a magnetic field for generating electrical current. By means of this, electrical energy is obtained from the energy conversion system (1 ).

In a possible usage of the present invention, fuel/air mixture is taken in the range of proportions of approximately 1/10 or 1/15 through the air and gas fuel feeding line (20) through the suction opening (12) to the flow opening (11 ). This amount can be adjusted by means of the first dosing unit (22). Afterwards, the gas fuel air mixture is burnt by means of at least one ignition element (50). Said ignition element (50) can be an item which can emit sparks for flaming up of the mixture. By means of this, while the air specific volume is 1 m 3 /kg, it increases approximately to the value 10 m 3 /kg by means of expanding. By means of combustion effect of the volume thereof, the speed increases by means of instantaneous increase. Here, the combustion gas which has increasing speed is discharged through the exhaust opening (13). This discharged accelerated gas can be used directly in thrust function. However, the invention is not limited with this, and can be converted into electrical energy again by means of a turbine. In order to expand 1 m 3 /kg air to 10 m 3 /kg air, temperature in the range of 1000-1500 e C is needed. In order to facilitate reaching this temperature, water and water vapor which are to be obtained from the liquid feeding line (30) are used. The water obtained from the sprayer (33) evaporates by means of combustion effect, and more power is obtained by means of volume and speed increase, and the temperature of the region provided in the exhaust opening (13) is reduced to optimum values (approximately 70-90 e C). Additionally, when high voltage is given to the region where water is sprayed and when said region is grounded, the water becomes conductive and electrical energy is produced with the help of the energy unit (40).

Together with all these embodiments, by using the energy conversion system (1 ), an embodiment is provided where both the thrust power is produced and where the electrical energy is internally produced. Here, the process of spraying of a fluid like water or similar fluid by means of the second dosing unit (32) can be realized by means of suction power which can be realized by burning a fuel; extra pump power is not needed. In the invention, the gases used as combustive gas are substantially environment-friendly, moreover, since these gases are burnt together by using fluid liquid and air by expanding the volume, the exhaust degree is substantially low. Additionally, the water can be turned into a conductive form, and an energy unit (40) is used which is operated in accordance with MHD generator rationale, electrical energy can also be produced by means of the thrust power.

The protection scope of the present invention is set forth in the annexed claims and cannot be restricted to the illustrative disclosures given above, under the detailed description. It is because a person skilled in the relevant art can obviously produce similar embodiments under the light of the foregoing disclosures, without departing from the main principles of the present invention.
