Abstract:

Disclosed is an energy management apparatus provided with: a communication unit that can communicate with at least a meter device that measures the amount of energy used by a device, between the meter device and a server apparatus that collects measurement information from the meter device; a device registration processing unit that makes an assessment of whether the communication unit is capable of communicating with the server apparatus, and when assessed as capable, transmits a device registration message, which is for making a request to the server apparatus to register a device identifier for the meter device and a device identifier for the energy management apparatus in association with the server apparatus, and when assessed as not capable, transmits the device registration message for the server apparatus to the meter device; a communication processing unit that obtains energy control information about the device to be transmitted by the server apparatus; and a control execution processing unit that controls the amount of energy to be used by the device on the basis of the energy control information.
