Abstract:

An engine blower comprising a centrifugal blower having a volute case containing a fan, an engine (4) fixed to the centrifugal blower and driving the fan, a carburetor (5) fixed to the engine (4) through an insulator (40), and a lead wire (7) for allowing the engine (4) and the carburetor (5) to conduct electrically. Since potential difference between the engine (4) and the carburetor (5) can be eliminated, generation of discharge between the engine (4) and the carburetor (5) can be prevented even if static electricity is accumulated on the volute case or the air duct. Consequently, the electronic circuit in an ignition unit can be prevented from being influenced by discharge that causes incorrect ignition timing.
