Abstract:
An engine control method is provided with a step for detecting the actual value of the concentration of oxygen in exhaust gas (S101), a step for detecting the actual value of the flow rate of an air-fuel mixture and the actual value of the degree of opening of a fuel control valve (S101), a step for detecting the actual value of a theoretical air-fuel ratio that changes according to the calorific value on the basis of the actual value of the concentration of oxygen, the actual value of the flow rate of the air-fuel mixture, and the actual value of the degree of opening of the fuel control valve (S102), a step for controlling the degree of opening of the fuel control valve that determines the air-fuel ratio such that the actual value of the air-fuel ratio matches the actual value of the theoretical air-fuel ratio (S103-S106), a step for setting the target value of the output of a power generator to a power generator output limit value (S112), a step for detecting the actual value of the output of the power generator (S110), and a step for controlling the throttle opening so that the actual value of the output of the power generator matches the target value of the output of the power generator, and the output limit value is the magnitude of the output obtained when the air-fuel ratio is maintained at the theoretical air-fuel ratio and the throttle opening is maintained at a predetermined throttle opening limit value.
