Abstract:
In a first standby state, a generator 6 and an AC outlet 33 are connected by a switch 36, and power is not supplied to an external load. In a second standby state, the generator 6 and the AC outlet 33 are disconnected by the switch 36, and power is not supplied to the external load. A break-in switch 25 or a communication circuit 21, etc., receives a switching command to switch from the first standby state or a normal operation state to the second standby state. A control unit 9 controls the switch 36 in accordance with the switching command, and disconnects the generator 6 and a supply unit. The control unit 9 also reduces the engine rotation speed of an internal combustion engine 1 from a first-standby-state engine rotation speed (example: 4300 r/min) to a second-standby-state engine rotation speed (example: 2000 r/min).
