Abstract:
An engine hood outer panel (10) springback control method. The method comprises: by using a flanging male die (31) and an upper material pressing plate (21), pressing tight areas on an engine hood outer panel except a flanging area (11); and, by respectively using a flanging female die (22) and a full-periphery material pressing plate (32), pressing tight the flanging area on the engine hood outer panel, thus enabling the flanging area of the engine hood outer panel to complete a flanging process when in a clamped state, and avoiding huge springback caused by a transverse shearing stress released by free flanging of arc areas. Also provided are a flanging die for implementing the method and a vehicle having the engine hood outer panel manufactured by means of the method. In the method, by adjusting the radius of curvature, arranging an auxiliary ridge line and increasing the height and range of main ridge lines, the springback amount is reduced to be within a risk controllable range of a manufacturing end, and the problem of waves near the main ridge lines can be eliminated, thereby solving the problem of huge springback generated in an industrial stage of an engine hood, helping to improve the assembly precision of an engine hood, reducing an assembly gap, and improving the appearance quality of a finished vehicle.
