Abstract:
An engine ignition device includes ignition coils (IG), each having a negative end connected to an oscillator circuit that provides a lot of voltage pulses, so that the secondary side of the ignition coil (IG) induces high voltages derived from the voltage pulses and from the ON/OFF voltage. The voltages produce sparks between the electrodes to ignite compressed fuel in a cylinder. The number of oscillator circuits is corresponding to the number of ignition coils. An automatic current control circuit is also provided to control the pulse current from the oscillator circuits automatically depending on the number of revolutions of the engine. A circuit is also provided for preventing a tachometer from malfunctioning.
