Abstract:

An engine intake control device comprising a control block (28) having a joining surface (28f) to which the attaching surface (27f) of a throttle body (17) parallel to an intake way (17a) is joined, a bypass upstream groove (32i) communicating with the upstream region of the intake way (17a) and a bypass downstream groove (32o) communicating with the downstream region of the intake way (17a) that are formed in at least one of these surfaces (27f, 28f), a valve hole (34) formed in the control block (28) to establish communication between the bypass upstream and downstream grooves (32i, 32o), a bypass valve (25) installed in the valve hole (34)and an actuator (28) therefor that are parallel to the intake way (17a) and disposed in a device block (11). This makes it possible to improve workability and assembly while reducing the size of an engine intake control device provided with a bypass valve and an actuator.
