Abstract:
Provided is an engine mounting method for mounting an engine to a mount destination object by attaching a pair of engine feet 4L, 4R to an engine 3 and attaching an engine foot to engine mounts 5L, 5R fixed to mount destination objects 2L, 2R. This engine mount method comprises: a first step for preparing a plurality of types of engine feet having different foot angles θ; a second step for measuring the weights of a plurality of constituent parts of an engine; a third step for calculating, on the basis of the measured weights and positional data about the plurality of constituent parts, the deviation of the actual mass center position relative to a standard mass center position of the engine; and a fourth step for selecting, among the plurality of types of the engine feet, an engine foot to be used according to the calculated deviation.
