Abstract:
In the present invention, the temporal change in the turbo rotation speed of a turbocharger is detected for each cycle of an engine. First vibration components respectively corresponding to each cylinder are specified from a pulsation component and are accumulated for each cylinder over a plurality of cycles, said pulsation component being included in the temporal change in the turbo rotation speed. Variation in combustion status among the plurality of cylinders is calculated by comparing the accumulated results for each cylinder.
