Abstract:
Disclosed are an environmentally friendly kitchen appliance and a manufacturing method therefor. The method comprises providing an environmentally friendly material (20) containing 70 wt% to 99 wt% of a monovalent metal alginate and 1 wt% to 30 wt% of a reinforcing material; adding a gelling agent (10) into the environmentally friendly material (20) to form a mixed material (30); injecting the mixed material (30) into a forming mold (2), and subjecting the mixed material (30) to a redox reaction in the forming mold (2) to displace the monovalent metal alginate in the mixed material (30) to calcium alginate, so as to obtain a preform (40); and drying the preform (40) to obtain the environmentally friendly kitchen appliance. The environmentally friendly kitchen appliance has an increased firmness, and after being used, can be reduced and decomposed into substances that do not produce environmental pollution. Thus, the environmentally friendly kitchen appliance can replace existing plastic-made kitchen appliances, achieving the effect of plastic reduction.
