Title:
EPITOPE NORMALIZED ANTIBODY PANEL, METHOD FOR CREATING SAME AND UTILIZATION THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/092907
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is technology for efficiently screening antibodies or technology for searching for and specifying a functional region of an antigen by an antibody. More specifically, provided is an epitope normalized antibody panel. Also provided is a method for creating an epitope normalized antibody panel against a specific antigen, said method comprising: (a) a step for providing a population of antibodies against the antigen as an original antibody panel; (b) a step for acquiring binding data of the antibodies in the original antibody panel; (c) a step for clustering the original antibody panel on the basis of the binding data; (d) a step for forming a partial panel, if required, and clustering the same; and (e) a step for computing the epitope group number e of the panel and, when a panel satisfying e≥E [wherein E stands for the target epitope group number relating to the antigen] exists, regarding the panel as an epitope normalized antibody panel, and when no such panel exists, creating a new population of antibodies by adding new antibodies and then repeating the aforesaid steps (a) to (d).
