Abstract:
A penalty is introduced to the channel with less noise when the difference in the transmitted signal quality among channels is reduced; therefore, an equalization apparatus according to an exemplary aspect of the invention includes a processing means for performing a process associated with a signal using a transfer function with a coefficient, the signal propagating through each of a plurality of channels; and a coefficient generating means for generating the coefficient based on channel quality information on each of the plurality of channels.
