Description:
EQUIVALENT SYSTEM FOR GENERATING ELECTRICITY FOR AN ELECTRIC OR HYBRID VEHICLE

BACKGROUND

The present invention relates generally to an equivalent system for generating and providing electricity for electric or hybrid vehicles, and specifically to providing electricity and fuel consumption for electric vehicles in hybrid vehicles and reduction of carbon emissions.

It is worth noting that the electric vehicles that operate by the mono-facial solar panels were charging the batteries with low efficiency that electric vehicles can't travel outside the city, hybrid vehicles also after a speed of 80 km/h, cannot move without fuel.

Therefore, our invention was a smart way to replace mono-facial solar panels with limited efficiency with bifacial solar panels integrated with bifacial solar panel solar tracker, to increase efficiency to 9-12% at least and energy productivity increases for up to at least 20-30%. We added an equivalent system with solar energy panels, which is to take advantage of the air colliding with the vehicle through the installation of turbine fans.

US 2021143724 disclosed recharging batteries and operating the electric motors by solar technology resources and sustainable wind energy which has a limited efficiency and some deficiencies listed in the following points and our present invention provides a solution for these problems: 1- During the entry of air into the duct through the cavities from the top and all sides of the car can be the reason of falling and collapsing of this duct due to the equal frequency of the outside air and the frequency of the inside air of the duct through these cavities, and the air also makes noise and obstructs the driver's rear view.

2- The duct length is economically costly and increases the weight of the car and thus the electricity consumption, and when it is installed, it is either above the axis (the differential that connects the movement of the machine to the wheels), and so the car loses its balance and is subject to overturn, or it is installed under the axis and is subject to shocks and destroying it.

3- The solar cells here are mono-facial, and they benefit from the loss of the upper side during the fall of the sunlight, and their efficiency is low and they also do not operate at night.

B- US 4141425 disclosed energy generation devices for electric vehicles using solar panels low efficient and do not fit our invention for many reasons:

1- The solar cells here are mono-facial, and they benefit from the loss of the upper side during the fall of the sunlight, and their efficiency is low and they also do not operate at night.

2- There is no turbine system to benefit from wind energy.

3- The consumption of electricity from the front electric motor is compensated by the generator disposed on the rear axis and thus we do not benefit from the electricity produced by the generator in the rear axis because of its production for the magnetic field that resists and prevents the car's impulse, that is, the energy produced from the generator disposed on the gears is charged in the batteries to move the vehicle and in turn is consumed in the magnetic field and there is no point in putting it that way. As batteries are discharged, the resistance is increased in the generator producing electricity thus increasing the reluctance.

C- US 3444946 disclosed automotive electric cars that do not fit our invention for many reasons:

1- The solar cells here are mono-facial, and they benefit from the loss of the upper side during the fall of the sunlight, and their efficiency is low and they also do not operate at night.

2- A gear was placed in the front and rear axis that takes its movement from the movement of the wheels and is connected to a generator to fill the battery, this defect is similar to the previous document (B), where the magnetic field generated by generating electricity by reluctance and resistance to rotating wheels, which leads to high consumption of batteries.

D- US 5986429 disclosed defects that do not fit our invention for many reasons:

1- The solar cells here are mono-facial, and they benefit from the loss of the upper side during the fall of the sunlight, and their efficiency is low and they also do not operate at night.

2- During the entry of air in front of the car, can be the reason of falling and collapsing of this duct due to the equal frequency of the outside air and the frequency of the air inside the cavity, and the air also makes noise. 3- The duct length is economically costly and increases the weight of the car and thus the electricity consumption, and when it is installed, it is either above the axis and so the car loses its balance and is subject to overturn, or it is installed under the axis and is subject to shocks and destroying it.

4- Putting four fans every two in a row, if one of them breaks down, it causes the system to crash completely, these fans are not a turbine that produces electricity.

SUMMARY

In the light of the above mentioned, the objective of this invention is to generate and provide electricity and fuel consumption in electric and hybrid vehicles respectively and to optimize vehicle efficiency and reduce carbon emission which is harmful to environment.

According to the depicted embodiment, the present invention relates to electric and hybrid vehicles and their operation with an equivalent system in view of the said defects in the background of the invention, our invention provides a solution comprising:

This invention is to benefit from solar energy as mentioned in (1), (2), (3), and benefit from wind energy as mentioned in (4).

As depicted in fig. (1), the bifacial solar panel (1) fixedly installed on the vehicle’s ceiling consists of two layers, an upper glass layer that receives all sunlight falling on it vertically, and a lower glass layer to receive all reflected solar rays as well as heat coming from earth, which contributes to the production of higher energy efficiency than the mono-facial solar panel that has only upper layer to absorb the solar rays falling on it.

- This bifacial solar panel (1) converts light energy into electrical energy connected to a regulator that connects it to the battery and it is charged.

- The bifacial solar panel solar tracker (2) and (3) installed in the center and ends of the vehicle’s cover is fixed at an angle of at least 23.50 degrees and tracks the movement of the sun while the vehicle is moving from east to west at an angle of at least 120 degrees to benefit from the solar rays throughout the day, as well as from the temperature of the motor under the vehicle while it is running, after that it is connected to a regulator that supplies the battery with the necessary electricity to electrically charge the battery. - Turbine fins (4) made of stainless steel, which are fixed behind the front grill of the vehicle to take advantage of the air hitting the front, the lengths of the turbine fins are at least 17 cm, the turbine diameter is at least 20 cm. Behind these turbine fins is a generator connected to a duct with a flowing shape made of aluminum ending with an opening at an angle of 45 degrees towards the bottom of the vehicle (4), at making the opening at this angle, we will have achieved one of the physical theories, which is that the passing air will be evaporated which causes low pressure at this opening.

- Advantages and characteristics of turbine fins (4) we find that turbine fins made of heavy metal have potential energy: A- When the vehicle is running, the varying high and low air pressure colliding turbine fins will rotate these fins fixed on an axis, but the speed of rotation here is not sufficient to generate electricity and to speed up the rotational speed, we connect it to a gearbox that contains several gears contribute to a high rotational speed, thus gaining mechanical energy, and there are also brakes in this box to control the rotation of the blades during inclement weather, then later connect to the generator, which “transforms mechanical energy into electrical energy” and then the regulator that charges the battery, thus we produce high electrical energy, then this air exits from this opening and during its exit the low pressure generated draws air to increase the movement of the turbine fins. B - While the vehicle is stopped, air enters from the bottom of the duct opening, at which the pressure is low, air is drawn to the turbine fins, which have potential energy, and moves it, gaining kinetic energy to help it move obtaining rotational speed, and here it gained mechanical energy, and when connected to the generator, it is generated electrical energy passes through the regulator to electrically charge the battery. Here, the air exits the turbine openings out.

C- Its design helped us not to generate a magnetic field on the axes, which causes reluctance to the movement of vehicle that is connected to the regulator that charges the battery with electricity. The idea of this duct is for the air to escape from the outside of the car because it does not collide with the radiator, which causes a reluctance force to appear that helps not to weigh the car.

We have cleverly employed the dual action electric regulator to regulate the electricity coming from the turbine fins to the battery automatically, where if the batteries are fully filled, this regulator separates the electric current coming from the turbine or solar cells from the batteries in order to maintain a longer lifetime of the battery and its high degree.
