Abstract:
An embodiment of an escrow unit control apparatus for an automated financial machine relates to an escrow unit control apparatus for an automated financial machine for controlling a rotational position of a drum provided in an escrow unit, in which banknotes are stored, in the automated financial machine, the escrow unit control apparatus comprising: a first gear coupled to one side of a rotating shaft of the drum; a second gear coupled to one side of the first gear; a first magnetic body provided at the center of rotation of the first gear; a second magnetic body provided at the center of rotation of the second gear; a first position detection unit which detects a change in position of the first magnetic body by rotation of the drum in units of a set first resolution angle; a second position detection unit which detects a change in position of the second magnetic body by the rotation of the drum in units of a set second resolution angle; and a control unit which controls a rotational position of the drum on the basis of the change in the position of the first magnetic body detected by the first position detection unit and the change in the position of the second magnetic body detected by the second position detection unit.
