Abstract:
Provided is an ESD protection device which is capable of further lowering the discharge starting voltage.
This ESD protection device (1) is provided with an insulating material (10), first and second discharge electrodes (21, 22), a first external electrode (31), a second external electrode (32) and a conductor (41). The first and second discharge electrodes (21, 22) are provided within the insulating material (10). The first external electrode (31) is provided on the outer surface of the insulating material (10). The first external electrode (31) is electrically connected to the first discharge electrode (21). The second external electrode (32) is provided on the outer surface of the insulating material (10). The second external electrode (32) is electrically connected to the second discharge electrode (22). The conductor (41) is provided within the insulating material (10). The conductor (41) is not connected to the first and second external electrodes (31, 32).
