Abstract:
The present invention comprises: an acquisition unit for acquiring the voltage, current, and temperature of a lead-acid battery; a first deriving unit for deriving a first SOC and a second SOC constituted by the SOC at the start and end of an estimation period; a second deriving unit for deriving the total overcharge amount during the estimation period; a third deriving unit for deriving an actually-measured error from the difference between the first SOC and the second SOC, and the total overcharge amount; a first identifying unit for identifying an estimated error on the basis of the first SOC, the second SOC, and the temperature, as well as the relationship between the first SOC, the second SOC, and the temperature of the lead-acid battery; a second identifying unit for identifying the degree of abnormality of the actually-measured error on the basis of the derived actually-measured error and the identified estimated error; and an estimation unit for estimating, on the basis of the degree of abnormality, whether an internal short circuit will occur in the lead-acid battery.
