Abstract:
The present invention comprises: a derivation unit (31) for deriving a derivation history that is based on the current of a lead storage battery, the voltage, and the temperature of the lead storage battery; an estimation unit (31) for estimating the degree of degradation; and a specifying unit (31). The specifying unit (31) specifies one or more physical quantities on the basis of the derivation history and one or more relationships selected from the following: a first relationship between a first history and the amount of a positive electrode active material; a second relationship between a second history and the specific surface area of the positive electrode material; a third relationship between a third history and the bulk density of the positive electrode material; a fourth relationship between a fourth history and the cluster size of positive active material particles; a fifth relationship between a fifth history and the accumulation amount of lead sulfate of a negative electrode material; a sixth relationship between a sixth history and the specific surface area of the negative electrode material; a seventh relationship between a seventh history and the amount of corrosion of a positive electrode lattice; an eighth relationship between an eighth history and the resistivity of a positive electrode plate; and a ninth relationship between a ninth history and the resistivity of a negative electrode plate.
