Abstract:
An estimation device (1) comprises: a reception unit (11) that receives measured values of charged particles which have passed through a three-dimensional space including an object being probed, the installation position of each measuring instrument, and the type of material layer; a setting unit (12) that sets an arbitrary value for each voxel in a first volume and that sets a second volume included in a final layer in correspondence with a combination of measuring instrument and the material layer; a reconstruction unit (13) that reconstructs an expected value of a measured value for each measuring instrument on the basis of values of the final layer acquired by a convolution operation; an error calculation unit (14) that calculates an error function value; a learning unit (15) that, when the error function value is a predetermined value or more, learns a parameter of a convolutional neural network; an operation unit (16) that acquires the values of the final layer by the convolution operation using the learned parameter; an estimation unit (17) that estimates an estimation value of the distribution of density information in the three-dimensional space using the acquired values of the final layer and the installation positions; and an output unit (18) that outputs the estimation value when the error function value is less than the predetermined value.
