Abstract:

The present invention relates to the technical field of communication devices. Provided is an Ethernet device with high transmission efficiency. The Ethernet device comprises: a data sending module, which is used for performing, every time a data packet issued by an upper-layer device is received and when it is determined that another Ethernet device in the same local area network needing to perform data transmission supports a small packet aggregation function, aggregation and encapsulation processing on small packets included in the data packet, so as to form at least one aggregated Ethernet frame, and sending same to another corresponding Ethernet device; and a data receiving module, which is used for receiving a data frame sent by another Ethernet device in the same local area network that supports the small packet aggregation function, performing, when it is determined that the data frame is a conventional Ethernet frame, data parsing on the data frame according to a pre-configured conventional parsing rule, and performing, when it is determined that the data frame is an aggregated Ethernet frame, data parsing on the data frame according to a pre-configured aggregation parsing rule. The beneficial effects are effectively improving the transmission efficiency during transmission of a small load packet by means of the Ethernet, and also ensuring the compatibility.
