Abstract:
An aqueous solution including an ethylene-vinylalcohol copolymer (A), a C1-4 alcohol (B), and water (C), wherein the content ratio of ethylene units in the ethylene-vinylalcohol copolymer (A) is 1 mol% to less than 20 mol%, the in-water crystallinity Cw (30°C) at 30°C and the in-water crystallinity Cw (70°C) at 70°C determined by pulse NMR of the ethylene-vinylalcohol copolymer (A) satisfy formula (I), and the aqueous solution includes 0.1-100 parts by mass of the ethylene-vinylalcohol copolymer (A) with respect to 100 parts by mass of water (C), and 0.01-30 parts by mass of the alcohol (B) with respect to 100 parts by mass of water (C). An aqueous solution including an ethylene-vinylalcohol copolymer is thereby provided, in which there is little occurrence of unmixed lumps and the occurrence of fibrillar deposits is reduced even when shearing stress is applied.
