Title:
EVALUATION METHOD OF ANTICANCER AGENT AND KIT FOR EVALUATING ANTICANCER AGENT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2024/101303
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An evaluation method of an anticancer agent that includes the following steps in this order: a step of culturing a cell structure containing stromal cells, in which a gene encoding a viable cell marker protein has been knocked out, and cancer cells in the presence of the anticancer agent; and a step of evaluating the anticancer agent using the expression level of the viable cell marker protein as an indicator. In the aforesaid evaluation, the expression level of the viable cell marker protein is measured using the culture supernatant. Alternatively, in the aforesaid evaluation, a substance that fluoresces or colors upon reaction with the viable cell marker protein is added and the expression level of the viable cell marker protein is measured on the basis of the amount of fluorescence or coloration of the substance.
