Abstract:
This evaporator is provided with: a mixing tank that is supplied with a raw material liquid and is provided with a volatile component outlet and a concentrated liquid outlet; and a liquid dispersion unit provided inside the mixing tank and making the raw material liquid flow downward to a heating unit within the mixing tank. Here, the liquid dispersion unit is provided with at least one channel member which is provided with a flow path in which, with the rotation of a rotating shaft, the raw material liquid that has been retained temporarily in a retention unit flows from the lower part to the upper part of the mixing tank via a liquid receiver. Furthermore, the channel member is constituted of a raw material liquid introduction part and a flow path forming part, and the absolute value of the angle of intersection of a virtual line that includes the raw material liquid introductory edge in the raw material introduction part and a base point with a line tangent to the outermost periphery at that base point is 0 – 10° with respect to the line tangent to the outermost periphery
