Abstract:
One or a plurality of the embodiments of the present description provides an event prediction method and apparatus and an electronic device, used for a blockchain node; said method comprises: determining that a prediction result inputted with regard to a specified event by a participant is published to a blockchain, the moment of input of said prediction result being earlier than the moment at which the actual result of said specified event occurs; invoking a smart contract used for evaluating prediction conditions; said smart contract is used for reading the prediction result and the actual result and performing a comparison between the prediction result and the actual result, such that an allocation instruction is sent to an off-chain object according to the comparison result, said allocation instruction being used for instructing said off-chain object to allocate a first off-chain rights certificate to the participant.
